Looking for that hard-to-get Bias MCLE credit?  Then you need to sign up for this lunch-time presentation by the Hon. Garen Horst, Judge of the Placer County Superior Court on August 20. from 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.

The existence of bias in the legal profession undermines the very essence of due process and equal justice under the law.  Although we all have biases, whether explicit or implicit, we can control how those biases affect our behavior.  Similarly, we as stewards of the law have ability to mitigate and reduce the impact of bias on our justice system.   In this hour, Judge Horst will discuss the components of bias and implicit-bias reducing strategies.  The presentation will be in compliance with Business and Professions Code section 6070.5.

This lunch will be held via Zoom Video Conference. Registered attendees will be provided with a link to Zoom registration once you have registered for this event and paid your fee.  Be sure to look out for that registration confirmation email!  It may land in your spam or updates folder.  Please pay online in order to receive the registration link. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this new method of providing MCLE during this challenging time.

This video conference will provide one hour MCLE credit.

Cost is $15 for PCBA members and $25 for non-PCBA members.
