Welcome

2008 PCBA President Levin
Many thanks to Judge Mark Curry for his excellent MCLE class on Courtroom Evidence on September 3.
On July 2, 2008, PCBA and the Placer County Law Library Board sponsored a renaming ceremony for the new Sparks Law Library of Placer County, and we thank Alex Constantino for standing in at the last minute as MC, Justice Rick Sims for his thoughtful remarks, and Justice Keith Sparks, for accepting the new name on behalf of his father, Judge Lowell Sparks, and himself. Whether you are a lawyer or not, if you need any help with finding the answers to your legal problem, pay the Sparks Law Library a visit. It is across the street from the historic Auburn courthouse, at 1523 Lincoln Way, and if you cannot get there, the staff can provide limited reference assistance by telephone, (530) 823-2573.
If you are looking for an attorney, please either check our membership directory or call the State Bar Certified Lawyer Referral Service covering Placer County, at (530) 888-1836. For a modest processing fee, the LRS provides clients an initial appointment to an attorney who is qualified and experienced in the appropriate area of law.
Sincerely, Levin PCBA President
